1.93ct Natural Certified Aquamarine – Pear

The originally stone was extracted from a mine in Brazil in the 1980’s, and from it the world’s largest aquamarine gem was cut. The original crystal weighing 45kgs and measuring just short of a metre in length.

In the late 1950’s, she commissioned Garrad Jewellers to make the tiara to match her aquamarine necklace and earrings.

In the early 1970’s the tiara received an upgrade thanks to the Governor of Sao Paulo, who generously gifted the Queen aquamarines.
